Founded in 1607 A.D. by Mughal Emperor Jahangir’s treasurer, Sheikh Farid, Faridabad has grown into leading industrial hub in the northern state of Haryana bordering New Delhi. Surrounded by other major cities of India like Delhi and Gurgaon, Faridabad is an emerging MICE destination with start-of-the -art infrastructure and sound connectivity. Faridabad metro station (Violet Line connects Faridabad with Delhi) is at a distance of 5 kilometres from Faridabad Railway Station. Bus and cab services are easily available in Faridabad. It has its own bus terminal from where buses ply to other routes of the city and outside.
